I just saw a poor review of my favorite summer place to visit. I was there 3 months ago when this person who is complaining about the cold states that his children needed heat. This is camping. If you cannot brave the cold then you should NOT be camping. Check the weather before you leave!!! I was at the site adjacent to these people that were complaining about the cold that weekend. THEY WERE RUNNING A GENERATOR!!! I was kept up the previous night because of their generator and was woken up at 6:00 a.m. the next morning with the running of their generator!! I go camping for peace and quiet!!! Not to hear city noises such as a generator waking me!! That is the reason that the camp owner was up at these individual sites! These campers were being inconsiderate of the people who were trying to get away into the quiet for a long weekend. I called the camp owner and complained! I have been going to this campground for 6 years and have never had a bad experience besides this one with the loud neighbors. I give Mount Pocono 5 stars every time. I love the stuff and I love that they keep the campgrounds and restrooms/showers clean. They have a person who is in there at least 2-3 times a day cleaning! I would highly recommend this campground to families!!!
